I worked for it dammit!

You know what I hate?

I hate that people say this : "You're lucky you're born this way! You do not have to watch what you eat and you're naturally skinny!"

FYI, I was NOT born skinny. I was born fat. Fat as in when I was in primary school. I could fit into my uniform but could not get the belt to go round my waist. So I had to TIE, ok, TIE my sister's belt around my waist. (To complete the primary school uniform look) Imagine the unhappening-ness of my dark blue uniform with a slighty faded belt tied around my waist (sis is two years older and super skinny when she was young).

When I was in secondary school, I was not as fat. That was cos I was an athlete and I trained every damn day under the hot sun just so I could maintain my form.
But when I hit 19 years of age, I ballooned another 10kgs from my weight in secondary school. Mind you, it was not because I quit sports, I still swam 20 laps around the olympic size swimming pool and also jogged around the college every day. Yet, I gained the lbs.

When I finally got to KL to start my degree, the weight started to come off. (no, it is not because of the "I am naturally skinny thats why weight just went off") I started losing weight because I had to make my way to college by foot. And it took me 20 minutes everyday to get there. And to get home, I had to take a bus and walk quite a distance back from the bus stop. So you see, I was still active and I did not have as much money then to indulge in food. So little money, plenty of walking = lost some weight.

Now, I have to go to gym at least 4 times a week, an hour or two each, to maintain my weight. No, I cannot eat what I want all the time. I have to watch what I eat as well. I have to exercise. Ok? I was not born lucky to have a "good" figure.

I WORKED HARD FOR IT DAMMIT.
